SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Chennai accepts admission through national-level entrance exams, authorized boards, or agencies for most programs. For some programs, direct admission is available. Candidates must meet the minimum marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for admission. For example, candidates seeking admission to BTech and M. Tech courses must qualify for the SRM JEE (UG) and SRM JEE (PG) exams. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic records and scores in the entrance exam.
